Punta Tombo

Punta Tombo es una reserva de fauna ubicada en la provincia de Chubut, cerca de Rawson, su ciudad capital.

Esta reserva se caracteriza por ser la mayor colonia de pingüinos de Magallanes en el mundo y por eso es uno de los lugares mas visitados por los turistas.

En agosto, se puede observar el arribo de los machos para rearmar los nidos que usaron durante el año. En octubre, las hembras ponen los huevos que incuban por alrededor de 45 días. En noviembre comienzan a nacer los primeros espécimenes y ya para Abril del año próximo, los pingüinos migran hacia otras partes.

Este lugar es el ideal para apreciar bien de cerca a estos animales ya que no se asustan con la presencia de seres humanos.

Lago Nahuel Huapi - Nahuel Huapi Lake

El Lago Nahuel Huapi, de 550 km2, se encuentra en el Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi, ubicado en las provincias de Neuquén y Río Negro.

Se caracteriza por su profundidad y por su extensión, ya que abarca dos provincias del país.

El principal atractivo turístico del Lago, además del recorrido que se puede hacer por el Parque Nacional, es la navegación por sus aguas.

Existe la leyenda de que en sus aguas habita Nahuelito, una especie de serpiente marina similar al monstruo del Lago Ness.

Su extensa vegetación y su admirable paisaje hacen del Nahuel Huapi, uno de los lugares de la región que obligatoriamente hay que visitar.
